Lidah bangsaku tiba-tiba kelu
di hujung satu dekad abad ke-21
buana yang resah benua tidak tentu
akan segala yang mungkin alaf baru,
ketika kuasa-kuasa bertukar haluan
krisis ekonomi gelegak di tangan
budaya hidup yang terencat
sosial manusia yang bejat
di sisi globalisasi liberalisasi
bangsaku hilang berani.

Dari dahulu di bumi merdeka ini
bangsaku bingkas
bangun berdiri
bersatu langkah sederap serentak
yakin bangunkan nusa yang hebat
dimalui disegani dihormati orang
atas kekuatan aneka macam
taat setia rakyat menjulang
satu padu bukan kepalang
sepakat nikmat kemakmuran,
jika muncul aliran baru alur fikir
menerjah tanpa nyata batin zahir
nusa ini akan nanar
jadi pohon tidak berakar.
